Thanks to Rachel Onken for the heads up via Twitter.
If you suffer from misophonia and you live in the United States, the website misophonia-provider.com has come up with a handy list of health providers and practitioners who are familiar with the condition.
Imagine that… being able to talk to a doctor who already understands what misophonia is, rather than getting that glazed “hmmm… you’re a bit strange” look while you try to explain why you want to punch people when you hear them chew gum.
It seems the misophonia movement is starting to get a bit more traction in the US, which is great. We need to get this issue on the table in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world as well. United we stand and all that.
Get in touch if you’ve got any useful links or resources we can share on the site.
