Calling any New York City (USA) based readers who want to help out in a new misophonia study.

The Schiller Laboratory of Affective Neuroscience at Mount Sinai are recruiting participants for a research study in New York City.

The purpose of this study is “to investigate the cognitive processes in misophonia”.

Misophonia Mount Sinai Study

About this study:

  • This is a paid study
  • It will take place at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
  • It involves two separate visits (Visit 1. Survey questions followed by an EEG. Visit 2. Undergoing tasks within an fMRI scanner)
  • To take part you need to have misophonia, be aged between the ages of 18 – 55 and have fluent English
