I think misophonia is an actual allergy to sound or fidgeting! I have seen that some are trying antihistamines to help (and it is helping to an extent). Also, there is something called Natural Allergy Elimination Technique that uses acupuncture to eliminate the allergy. You have to go to an acupuncturist who knows how to treat sensory issues like autism.
