Hi guys I always knew I had an unreasonable problem with certain noises and sounds but since moving to a fairly busy road I’ve realised that rush hour traffic drives me insane. I keep the living room curtains drawn and put on a fan to drown the noise out but seeing summer is approaching it’s not fair on my partner. So I plucked up courage and booked an appointment with my GP who said oh I’ve recently read about this, was absolutely 100 percent sympathetic and gave me a phone number for CBT and offered me antidepressants. I would encourage sufferers to see their GPs the more people who go the more it can become a recognised problem!
