One of my closest friends has a pretty severe case of Misophonia and it heavily affects her daily life. It makes it hard for her to sit in class, take a test or even be out in public. I know it’s nothing she can help and I want to be able to help her but I don’t know how to, especially when she takes all of her rage out on me when someone else is chewing or sniffling. I know I can’t take it personally because it’s just a response her body has, but on the inside it’s very frustrating and I’m trying to do my best to empathize with her. If anyone has any tips for her suffering with Misophonia, and for me to be supportive that would be greatly appreciated.
